Ottawa Senators Goalie Set to Return

Exciting news for the Ottawa Senators, as Cam Talbot has been activated off injured reserve. He is set to be the team's backup netminder for Thursday's game against the Vegas Golden Knights. 

Although Talbot is not starting on Thursday, it's awesome to see that the veteran is finally healthy. We should expect to see him make his first start as a Senator very shortly, and it honestly could not have come at a better time. At this juncture of the season, Ottawa has a 4-5-0 record and is at the bottom of the Atlantic Division. Getting their starter back could be exactly what helps them turn things around. 

Talbot was among Ottawa's biggest offseason additions this summer, so all eyes will be on him once he makes his first start. In 49 games last season with the Minnesota Wild, he had a 32-12-4 record, 2.76 GAA, and .911 SV%.
