Ottawa Senators Make Roster Move
The Ottawa Senators have called up Jacob Larsson to the NHL roster. This is in response to star defenseman Thomas Chabot being out for at least the next week due to a concussion.
Larsson was one of the Senators' offseason additions, and now he is getting his first crack on the NHL roster since his arrival. The 25-year-old just completed a five-year stint with the Anaheim Ducks, where he had three goals, 24 points, and a minus-26 rating in 165 games. Now, he will be aiming to impress with the Senators, as it could be what allows him to secure a permanent spot on their roster from here.
With the Senators having a 5-8-1 record, they certainly are in need of some things going their way. Let's see if this Larsson call-up can give them a boost.
