Ottawa Senators Send Defenseman Back to AHL

Jacob Bernard-Docker's time with the NHL squad is over after just two days, as the 2018 first-round pick has been sent right back down to the AHL.

Bernard-Docker, unfortunately, did not play a game for the Senators during this call-up. This is rough news for the 22-year-old, as he has been aiming to cement himself as an NHL regular but just hasn't been given too many chances. Yet, he will now be hoping to put together some very strong play for the Belleville Senators from here.

In eight games this season with Belleville, he has one assist. Look for him to start heating up for them from here, as it could be exactly what lands him another call-up to Ottawa in the near future.
