Philadelphia Flyers Forward Leaves Game with Injury
The Philadelphia Flyers had a rough Thursday (Nov. 17) night, as they fell to the Boston Bruins by a 4-1 final score. However, to make matters worse, Travis Konecny left the game early with a hand injury.
This is pretty brutal news for a Flyers team that is in danger of falling out of the playoff race. At the time of this writing, they now have a 7-7-3 record and have lost five straight games. Thus, potentially losing Konecny only makes things far worse for Philadelphia.
Konecny has been the Flyers' most productive forward this season thus far, as he has seven goals and 19 points in 17 games. Here's to hoping that the 2015 first-round pick's injury isn't too serious and that he does not have to miss any more game time.
