Philadelphia Flyers Forward Placed on IR

The Philadelphia Flyers have placed Wade Allison on injured reserve due to his lower-body injury. With it being retroactive to Nov. 12, he will not be eligible to return until at least Nov. 19.

Allison has been a solid part of the Flyer's bottom six this season, so his absence will be noted. In 14 games on the year thus far, the 6-foot-2 winger has three goals to go along with an assist. With that, he has made a major fact in the physical side of the game, as he already has a whopping 42 hits on the year. 

The Flyers will be hoping that Allison's injury is a short-term one and that he can return to the lineup next week. We will have to wait and see if that does in fact come to fruition from here.
