Philadelphia Flyers Forward Placed on IR

The Philadelphia Flyers have placed Scott Laughton on injured reserve due to a anpper-body injury. He is expected to miss the next two weeks. 

After a hot start to the 2022-23 season, the Flyers have quickly been falling off - as many people expected. However, if they were to get things back on track quickly, their playoff hopes would be salvageable. As a result, losing a key forward in Laughton is not doing them any favors on that front.

Laughton, who is an alternate captain for the Flyers, has three goals and seven assists in 18 games this season. Here's to hoping that the 28-year-old forward does not suffer any setbacks and continues to play well once healthy again.
