Philadelphia Flyers Forward Set to Return

The Philadelphia Flyers have activated Scott Laughton off of injured reserve, and he will return to the lineup for Tuesday's contest against the New York Islanders. 

Laughton's return certainly could not have come at a better time for the Flyers, as they are currently going through a horrible 10-game losing streak. Thus, getting back their alternate captain could energize them to a much-needed win. 

Laughton has had a decent start to the 2022-23 campaign, as he has three goals to go along with seven points in 18 games. Yet, his strong defensive play and grit (52 hits) are what truly make him a big part of their forward group. Let's see how much of an impact the 28-year-old makes in his return.
