Philadelphia Flyers Make Roster Moves

The Philadelphia Flyers have placed Travis Konecny on injured reserve. To fill up his roster spot, they have called up Egor Zamula. 

Konecny's IR placement is not all that surprising, as the 25-year-old forward has been out since Nov. 17. As a result, it makes sense for the Flyers to place him on IR, as it allowed them to bring back Zamula to their NHL roster. It has been an excellent year for Konecny thus far, as he has seven goals to go along with 19 points in just 17 games. 

Zamula, on the other hand, will be hoping that this latest call-up leads to him sticking around permanently. The 6-foot-5 defenseman has appeared in nine games this season for the Flyers, where he has two assists and a plus-1 rating. Let's see how he does for them from here.
