Predators Forward Placed on Waivers

The Nashville Predators have placed Kiefer Sherwood on waivers.

With the Predators sporting a 3-6-1 record, it makes sense that they have decided to make a change to their roster. Sherwood has also been a healthy scratch for four out of the last six games for the Predators, so perhaps a move to the AHL is something that he will not be too upset about it. If he clears, he will have a first-line role with the Milwaukee Admirals.

However, we also should not rule out the possibility of Sherwood getting claimed by another. Keep in mind, he had 36 goals and 75 points in 57 AHL games last season. With that, he has a goal and an assist in five contests with the Predators, so he has been effective when called upon. Let's see if that's enough for him to find a new home from here.
