Seattle Kraken Make Roster Move
With Martin Jones returning, the Seattle Kraken have sent Christopher Gibson back down to the AHL.
Gibson's call-up was clearly a temporary one. The Kraken are of course dealing with numerous injuries in goal, as both Philipp Grubauer and Chris Driedger are sidelined. Jones, on the other hand, returned home to be with his family due to the birth of his newborn. However, now Jones is back in action, and Gibson no longer will be serving as the club's backup.
Gibson will now be returning to the Coachella Valley Firebirds and aiming to bounce back from a disastrous start to the year. In two appearances thus far for the AHL squad, he has a 0-1-0 record, 7.61 GAA, and .706 SV%.
