St. Louis Blues Activate Forward

The St. Louis Blues have activated Keean Washkurak from the season-opening injured reserve list. With this, he has been sent down to the Springfield Thunderbirds to get his 2022-23 season underway. 

Washkurak was aiming to compete for a bottom-six spot in the Blues' lineup, but an injury during training camp took that possibility away. Now, he is set to join the Thunderbirds and will be hoping to put up a big season from here.

At 21 years old, Washkurak is still developing his game, but he left a solid first impression with the Thunderbirds last year. In 64 games last season, the Waterloo native had 13 goals, 10 assists, and 50 penalty minutes. Let's see how the tenacious center performs in 2022-23.
