St. Louis Blues Defenseman Set to Return
St. Louis Blues defenseman Robert Bortuzzo is set to return to the lineup, as he has been activated off of IR. In a corresponding move, Tyler Tucker has been sent back down to the Springfield Thunderbirds.
Bortuzzo has not played since Nov. 8's contest against the Philadelphia Flyers, so the Blues will be happy to have him back. The 6-foot-4, right-shot defenseman has been a mainstay in their lineup for several seasons now, so having him back as they aim to continue their winning streak is big news. In 10 games this season, he has zero points and 11 hits.
Tucker, on the other hand, was recently called up by the Blues and appeared in his first four NHL games. During them, he failed to record a point and had an even rating. Let's see if the 22-year-old can score himself another call-up soon.
