Toronto Maple Leafs Goalie Set to Return
While speaking with reporters, Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Sheldon Keefe announced that Matt Murray will start against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Tuesday night.
Murray has been out since last month due to an adductor injury. In his lone start with the Leafs this season, he allowed four goals on just 23 shots. Yet, now that he is healthy, he will have the chance to bounce back from his first regular-season start as a Leaf. Interestingly, he is returning against the team who he happened to win two Stanley Cups with.
The Maple Leafs must be ecstatic to have Murray back, as Ilya Samsonov is also out. Alas, let's see how Murray performs from here.
