Toronto Maple Leafs Lose Another Defenseman
The Toronto Maple Leafs are getting pounded by the injury bug. After already missing Jake Muzzin and TJ Brodie, number one defenseman Morgan Rielly left Monday night's game with an apparent knee injury.
The play happened against the New York Islanders in what looked like an accidental collision with Isles forward Kyle Palmieri. Rielly left the game and did not return and now is heading for some images to see the extent of the trade. Any major injury is going to be a huge dent into the Maple Leafs blueline and will force management's hand to make a deal.

The 28-year-old Rielly has had knee problems in the past so this type of injury is concerning. So far in 20 games, the mobile defender has recorded 16 assists and consistently plays big minutes for Toronto. Some more news on the extent is expected late Tuesday afternoon.
