Barry Trotz Comments On Coaching Future
As we get closer to the New Year, longtime NHL head coach Barry Trotz still does not have a job. Yet, that is by his own choice. While speaking with Daren Millard on The Chirp podcast, he said that teams around the league have called him, but he does not feel ready to coach again at this time.
There has been plenty of speculation regarding where Trotz could end up this season, but clearly, a decision on that front will not be occurring any time soon. This is disappointing news to teams that have been looking at Trotz as a possible coaching candidate.
In 1,812 career games as head coach, Trotz has put together a 914-670-60 record. With that, he is a two-time Jack Adams Award winner.
