Buffalo Sabres Send Defenseman Down to AHL

The Buffalo Sabres have sent Jeremy Davies back down to the Rochester Americans.

Davies was recently called up to the Sabres and appeared in one game following it. During that contest, he failed to record a point and sported an even rating. Now, the 26-year-old defenseman is heading back to the Americans where he will be aiming to make a big impact.

Although it is never a good thing to be demoted, it seems possible that this will not be the last time we see Davies on Buffalo's NHL roster. Injuries occur often in this league, and Davies is one of their call-up candidates, so let's see if he ends up back with the Sabres at some point this campaign.
