Calgary Flames Defenseman Set to Return

The Calgary Flames have activated Dennis Gilbert off of injured reserve.

Gilbert suffered an injury after a fight against San Jose Sharks forward Jonah Gadovich last week, but now he is ready to return to action. This is good news for the Flames, as it means that they have one of their depth defensemen available again. 

Gilbert has been a decent call-up option for the Flames this campaign. In eight games with Calgary on the year, he has one assist, 20 penalty minutes, and 18 hits.
