Carolina Hurricanes Call Up Defenseman

The Carolina Hurricanes have called up Maxime Lajoie to their NHL roster.

Lajoie has played in one game for the Hurricanes this season, where he failed to get on the scoresheet. Now, he will be hoping to make a bigger impact with Carolina as he gets his second chance to be with the NHL team this year. 

Lajoie has played in 17 games with the Chicago Wolves this season, where he has six assists and a rough minus-11 rating. 

Nevertheless, we will have to wait and see how Lajoie performs for the Hurricanes from here. If he does well, perhaps he could stick around on their NHL roster as a depth defenseman moving forward.
