Colorado Avalanche Send Down 3 Players
The Colorado Avalanche made some subtractions to their NHL roster, as Anton Blidh, Andreas Englund, and Charles Hudon have been sent down to the AHL.
Blidh was recently called back up to the NHL squad at the beginning of this month. In nine total games with the Avalanche on the year, he has zero points to go along with a minus-2 rating. Overall, he has been quiet, but now he will be hoping to make an impact with the Colorado Eagles.
Englund was also called up just a few days ago. Similar to Blidh, he has been fairly quiet when called upon, but he did drop the gloves with Boston Bruins winger Nick Foligno last Saturday (Dec 3). In six games with the Avs this campaign, he has one assist and a minus-1 rating.
Hudon was just called up to the Avalanche and played in his first NHL game since the 2019-20 season. During it, he had seven shots on goal, but he did not find the back of the net.
