Columbus Blue Jackets Make Roster Moves
The Columbus Blue Jackets have called up Kirill Marchenko to their NHL roster, while Trey Fix-Wolansky is heading back to the Cleveland Monsters.
Marchenko made the switch to North America for this season after spending the last five seasons in the KHL. Yet, now the 2018 second-round pick is set to get his NHL career started, and all eyes will be on him. The 22-year-old winger has been excellent with the Monsters thus far, as he has eight goals and 19 points in 16 games. Let's see how much of this translates over to the NHL from here.
Fix-Wolansky, on the other hand, has played in four games with Columbus this season, where he has zero points. However, he has been simply outstanding for the Monsters, as his 22 points in just 14 games show. As a result, Cleveland will love to have him back.
