Columbus Blue Jackets Make Roster Moves
The Columbus Blue Jackets have made a series of roster moves. Cole Sillinger has been activated off of injured reserve, Emil Bemstrom has been called up to the NHL roster, and Jake Christiansen is heading back to the Cleveland Monsters.
Sillinger last played on Dec. 17 against the Boston Bruins, but now the 19-year-old forward is ready to get back into action. The 2022-23 season has been a rough one for the center, however, as he has two goals, four assists, and a minus-6 rating in 30 games. He will be aiming to heat up now that he is healthy.
Bemstrom has seen limited action at the NHL level this season, but he also has done well when called upon. In seven games with Columbus on the year, he has two goals to go along with four points. Perhaps he could land a full-time role with the NHL team if he continues to provide decent secondary scoring during this call-up.
Christiansen has played in 17 games with Columbus this season, where he has two assists to go along with a minus-3 rating.
