Maple Leafs Robertson to Miss Significant Time
The Toronto Maple Leafs are expected to without forward Nick Robertson for at least a month after the young forward suffered an upper-body injury against the Los Angeles Kings.
Robertson was taken out without the puck by Kings defenseman Matt Roy, who received an interference penalty on the play. This is the fourth straight season since being drafted by the Maple Leafs where Robertson has suffered a significant injury.
The Maple Leafs had just moved the 21-year-old forward to fill in on the team's second line along side Mitch Marner and John Tavares, as he was filling in for Calle Jarnkrok, who also went down with an injury. So far in 15 games with the NHL club, Robertson has recorded five points.
Here's the play that lands him on the shelve, once again...
