NHL Rumors: Anaheim Ducks Forward to be Traded
The Anaheim Ducks will surely be sellers at the trade deadline. Players like John Klingberg, Kevin Shattenkirk, and Adam Henrique have emerged as trade candidates because of this, but another under-the-radar player who we could see dealt is Sam Carrick.
Carrick carries a very affordable $850,000 cap hit until the end of the 2023-24 season, so he could certainly get some interest. This is especially true when noting that he plays a heavy game and can chip in offensively in a bottom-six role while playing at his best. For example, the 30-year-old had 11 goals, 19 points, 85 penalty minutes, and 122 hits last season in 64 games. Therefore, this is a decent depth player who could grab the attention of some contenders.
We will have to wait and see what happens with Carrick from here.
