NHL Rumors: Anaheim Ducks to Trade Defenseman
The Anaheim Ducks are currently at the bottom of the NHL standings and will be major sellers at the trade deadline because of it. Players like John Klingberg and Kevin Shattenkirk are expected to be moved, but another under-the-radar defenseman who could be dealt is Nathan Beaulieu.
Beaulieu is a pending UFA who could get a decent amount of attention on the trade market. The 29-year-old is a solid puck-moving defenseman who also plays a very physical game. As a result, he could be a good option for a contender looking to add to their defensive depth for the playoffs.
Beaulieu is unlikely to get the Ducks too much in a trade centering around him, but given the fact that they are rebuilding, they will be happy to land a pick for him. In 13 games this season, he has three assists.
