NHL Rumors: Coyotes Mulling Over Multiple Trade Offers
According to TSN's Darren Dreger, the trade buzz surrounding Arizona Coyotes defenseman Jakob Chychrun has picked up in a major way.
From the sounds of it, trade offers have been presented to the team and the Coyotes continue to have dialogue with multiple teams. Some teams who are likely involved include the Los Angeles Kings, Toronto Maple Leafs, Edmonton Oilers, Seattle Kraken and Ottawa Senators.
Chychrun has returned to action of late and has performed very well since suiting back up. In seven games, the mobile defenseman has recorded six points and is playing over 22 minutes a night. Chychrun is a top-pair blueliner who has all the tools to make an impact in any situation. He's signed through the 2024-25 season at a very reasonable $4.6 million.

The Coyotes are asking for one upcoming first-round pick, one first-round selection from the past two years, a young roster player and they are willing to take on a bad contract if needed to facilitate the move. A huge asking price, no doubt, and likely the biggest reason why a deal hasn't been announced as of yet.
