Philadelphia Flyers Call Up Top Prospect
The Philadelphia Flyers have called up 2019 14th-overall pick Cam York to their NHL roster. In a corresponding move, fellow defenseman Yegor Zamula has been sent down to the AHL.
This will be York's first stint on the NHL roster this season, and the 21-year-old defenseman will be aiming to make a big impact in the process. The Anaheim native has been excellent with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms this season, as he has a solid 13 points in 20 games thus far. With numbers like these from the point, it's fair to say that he has earned this call-up. Let's see if this kind of offense can translate to the NHL level from here.
Zamula, on the other hand, has appeared in 11 games as a Flyer this season, where he has two assists and a minus-1 rating. Overall, the 6-foot-5 defenseman has not taken the world by storm while with the NHL squad, but let's see if he makes a big impact with the Phantoms from here.
