Washington Capitals Call Up Goalie

The Washington Capitals have called up Zach Fucale to their NHL roster.

This move is in response to Hunter Shepard having to miss time due to an upper-body injury. As a result, Fucale is getting another chance at the NHL level and will aim to impress if he receives any game time during the call-up. 

Fucale was a fun but brief story last season, as he was very good with the Caps when called upon. In four appearances, he had a 1-1-1 record, 1.75 GAA, and .924 SV%. This was the 27-year-old's first year in the NHL, too, after years of playing in the AHL. Alas, let's see how he performs for the Capitals this time around.
