Washington Capitals Forward Leaves Game Injured
Although the Washington Capitals defeated the Toronto Maple Leafs by a 5-2 final score on Saturday, it came with a cost. T.J. Oshie left the contest early with an upper-body injury.
The Capitals have had a plethora of injury trouble this season with their forwards, so they will be hoping that Oshie's ailment is nothing serious. The 35-year-old is set to be evaluated on Sunday, so we will hear an update on his condition shortly.
In 22 games this season, Oshie has five goals to go along with six assists. Although his offense is a bit lower than usual so far this campaign, he is still a key part of the Capitals' group, so they will be hoping that he does not have to miss time from here.
