2 Players Placed On Waivers
The NHL has two new players on waivers, as Dryden Hunt (Toronto Maple Leafs) and Anton Blidh (Colorado Avalanche) have been placed on the wire.
Hunt has been on the move quite often this season, and now there's a chance he will join his fourth team already due to this latest waiver placement. It is possible that a team needing a depth forward will claim him, as he provides a lot of physicality and carries a cheap cap hit. In 37 games this season between the New York Rangers, Avalanche, and Leafs, he has three goals, 100hits, and a minus-10 rating.
Like Hunt, Blidh could get some attention on the waiver wire as a depth forward. The 27-year-old has not made too much of an impact with Colorado this season, though, as he has zero points in 13 games. In 32 games last season with the Boston Bruins, he had two goals and nine points, so maybe his past production could lead to a team taking a shot on him from here.
