2 Potential Trade Destinations for Senators Cam Talbot
There's been some rumblings surrounding the Ottawa Senators that they may make veteran netminder Cam Talbot available via trade. The deadline is March 3, let's dive into a few teams who could have interest in acquiring Talbot:
Los Angeles Kings
The Kings are in desperate need of some consistent goaltending and after sending Cal Petersen down to the AHL, have been rolling with Jonathan Quick and Phoenix Copley. Talbot is a pending free agent who is making $3.6 million against the cap. He doesn't hold any trade protection and can be moved at will. The Kings will certainly be interested over these next few weeks to find out what the asking price is out of Ottawa. Talbot has appeared in 22 games this season, recording a 2.75 GAA and a .911 Sv.%.
Buffalo Sabres
If the Sabres smell playoffs, they will be active trying to add to their roster for the rest of this season. Tage Thompson is on another planet this season and could be propelling Buffalo into the post season on his own. The Sabres aren't deep in the crease and adding a talent like Talbot could be exactly what the doctor ordered in Buffalo.

I’m biased but I think @Friedesigns nailed my new mask. But only 1 persons opinion really matters…what does the real #Deadpool think?? @VancityReynolds https://t.co/6ew9NsAKqO
