3 Teams Linked to Trade for Canucks Brock Boeser
The Vancouver Canucks gave Brock Boeser's agent permission to seek a trade weeks ago. So far, no deal is imminent, however, trade talks have been heating up of late. There's no doubt the Canucks are looking to create some more cap flexibility moving forward as they re-tool on the fly. Here's the latest on a Boeser trade out of Vancouver:
Minnesota Wild
The Wild are an interesting team on the trade market because of their financial constraints with their recent buyouts of Zach Parise and Ryan Suter. Of late, Boeser has been linked to the Wild, his hometown team, and there's potential here for a deal involving Matt Dumba heading the other way.
Pittsburgh Penguins
The Penguins love Boeser, however the Canucks will want more than Kasperi Kapanen in return. The Pens have the resources to afford Boeser and his $6.6 million through the 2024-25 season. Any deal between these two clubs would likely include one of Pierre-Oliver Joseph or Ty Smith heading to Vancouver as the Canucks are looking for more depth on defense.
If Jim Rutherford were still the Pens' GM he would've traded a 1st for Brock Boeser this morning and honestly there's a small part of me that misses that

Washington Capitals
The Capitals are looking for a scoring winger and could be in the market to land Boeser. He's a proven sniper who is still in the prime of his career. Washington is all in and will be all in each season Alex Ovechkin suits up for. Anthony Mantha heading to other way make sense for both sides?
