3 Toronto Maple Leafs Trade Assets
The Toronto Maple Leafs are expected to make a move or two ahead of the March 3 trade deadline. General manager Kyle Dubas is never shy to try and upgrade his roster and this season will be no different even though the Leafs GM doesn't have a contract for next season. Expect to see Toronto in on several big names these next few weeks and they have these trade assets to dangle:
Joseph Woll
With Matt Murray and Ilya Samsonov appearing to be the tandem the Leafs were hoping they would be, prospect Joseph Woll could find himself being moved before March. Woll is a late-bloomer, and at 24, is having the best professional season of his career.
Joseph Woll, again, coming up with another huge save for the #Marlies.

He's returned from injury to start his 2022-23 campaign with a 9-0-0 record and a 2.22 GAA and a .935 SV.%. Woll's becoming one of Dubas' best trade assets.
Nick Robertson
Even though Robertson is hurt, there's interest from other teams. He's shown the ability to put the puck in the back of the net and was one of Toronto's best players during the preseason. If the Maple Leafs swing for the fences on someone like Timo Meier or Patrick Kane, expect to see them include Robertson so they don't have to include top prospect Matthew Knies.
Pontus Holmberg
One of the surprises this season is Pontus Holmberg and how he's come into his own as the Maple Leafs fourth-line center. His teammates love him and call him a 'stud' because of how he's always making the right play. If Toronto goes all-in on Ryan O'Reilly or Bo Horvat, expect to see Holmberg included in the deal as he's turning heads around the league.
