Canucks Receive Serious Trade Offer for Bo Horvat
The Vancouver Canucks have been going back and forth with several teams for weeks as they try to get fair market value for captain Bo Horvat. There's no doubt Horvat is getting moved, it's just a matter of where & when and not if.
Reports have surfaced stating the Canucks recently received a very strong offer for Horvat which included a top prospect coming back the other way.
Horvat's a mostly offensive centre, roughly average defensively. 14th in goals in the past three seasons though, with very strong finishing touch especially lately. Definitely a contract year bump. #Canucks https://t.co/jCiFpPpqWT pic.twitter.com/lxSOeg5pCS

Teams already linked to Horvat include the Toronto Maple Leafs, Boston Bruins, Colorado Avalanche, Seattle Kraken, Pittsburgh Penguins and Minnesota Wild.
Horvat is a pending free agent who makes $5.5 million against the cap. He doesn't hold any trade protection and can be moved at will. Horvat's in the midst of a career season, scoring 30 goals and 47 points in his first 42 games this season.
