Canucks Rumors: Insider Links Horvat to Division Rival

Heading into the NHL trade deadline, many have assumed that the Los Angeles Kings’ primary goal is to add a high-impact, left-shot defenseman. Yet, it appears that they also may be on the hunt for a star center, Satiar Shah has reported that the Kings are a team to watch in the Bo Horvat sweepstakes.

Horvat would certainly provide the Kings with a significant boost in their forward group. With Los Angeles looking to make a real playoff run, it would definitely make sense for them to target one of the league’s top rental candidates. However, if they are in fact in the sweepstakes, they are going to go up against an abundance of teams because of how excellent of a player he is.

It will be intriguing to see if the Kings end up being the lucky club to acquire Horvat from here. He would certainly give them another top-tier weapon to work with, but alas, time will tell if it occurs.
