Carolina Hurricanes' Pacioretty Suffers Scary Injury
During the final moments of last night’s (Jan. 19) contest against the Minnesota Wild, Carolina Hurricanes forward Max Pacioretty suffered a non-contact lower-body injury and needed assistance getting off the ice.
Oh no.

Pacioretty recently made his season debut for the Hurricanes after being sidelined due to a torn Achilles. It also has been determined that the leg that Pacioretty hurt was the same on where he suffered his torn Achilles. As a result, this is an immensely concerning development.
All hockey fans should be hoping that this isn’t as serious as it looked and that Pacioretty will be able to return to the lineup soon. The veteran winger has experienced significant injury trouble, and it would be awful to hear that he has suffered another serious one.
Alas, here’s to hoping that Pacioretty has a speedy recovery.
