Carolina Hurricanes Star Forward Set to Make Debut

The Carolina Hurricanes are one of the hottest teams in the NHL. At the time of this writing, they have a 25-7-6 record. Now, they are getting a major boost to their already-strong roster, as Max Pacioretty has been activated off injured reserve.

Pacioretty was acquired by the Hurricanes during the offseason in a trade with the Vegas Golden Knights. However, he has not made his debut with the team, as he suffered a torn Achilles during the offseason. Yet, now things are finally about to change on that front, and the Hurricanes are certainly happy about it.

Pacioretty will provide the Hurricanes with a legitimate sniper, so we should expect to see Carolina score even more goals from here. In 39 games last season with Vegas, Pacioretty had 19 goals to go along with 37 points. If he can continue to produce like this as a Hurricane, Carolina is going to be in great shape as they prepare for the playoffs.
