Chicago Blackhawks Tanking for Connor Bedard
The Chicago Blackhawks currently sit with a 11-26-4 record, which is good for dead last in the NHL. General manager Kyle Davidson has been open and honest about the team's five-year plan since the beginning of the season and now, it appears the tanking for Connor Bedard is as real as ever.
According to multiple reports, the Blackhawks have openly admitted they are not looking to win hockey games down the stretch and will be doing whatever they can to not collect two points. This includes not calling up AHL players who deserve it, and trading away Patrick Kane, Jonathan Toews, Andreas Anthansiou, and many others.
Chicago Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews is aware that he might not be in the Windy City for much longer, but he acknowledges that a change might not be the worst thing for all parties involved. #Blackhawks #NHL pic.twitter.com/y7Wy7oZrHE

As for Bedard, he's back with the Regina Pats of the WHL after a dominant performance for Team Canada at the World Juniors. The generational talent has recorded 36 goals and 78 points in 31 games and continues to rack of crazy numbers. He'd be fun to watch anywhere in the NHL, however the Blackhawks may just be the best fit.
Patrick Kane skated with Connor Bedard at the BioSteel Camp before the season, and Kane believes he’s the real deal.
