Colorado Avalanche Goalie Set to Return
The Colorado Avalanche are getting a boost, as Pavel Francouz has been activated off of injured reserve and is set to return because of it.
Francouz has been out of action for roughly a month, so the Avalanche will be ecstatic to have the netminder back. He has appeared in just nine games this season due to injury, where he has a 4-5-0 record to go along with a 2.80 goals-against average and a .913 save percentage. Overall, he has been quite solid when healthy, so there’s no question that the Avalanche are going to be happy to have them back in the net.
With Francouz set to return, the Colorado Avalanche have sent Jonas Johansson back down to the Colorado Eagles. While with the NHL squad this season, he appeared in one game, where he made seven saves on seven shot attempts. Overall, the sample size was small, but he did do well when called upon. If injuries occur again during this season, don’t be surprised to see Johansson called back up to the NHL roster.
