Dallas Stars Rookie Sent Down to AHL

The Dallas Stars have sent down Fredrik Olofsson to the Texas Stars. 

Olofsson's brief three-game call-up to Dallas proved to be decent, as he scored his first NHL goal. Yet, it was not enough for him to remain with the NHL squad, and now he will be aiming to put up big numbers in the AHL because of it.

Alas, we will have to wait and see how Olofsson responds to this demotion from here. If he tears up the AHL, don't be surprised to see him get another call-up before the year is over.
