Detroit Red Wings Forward Set to Return
While speaking with reporters, Detroit Red Wings head coach Derek Lalonde announced that Tyler Bertuzzi will be returning to the lineup for Tuesday’s game against the Winnipeg Jets.
The Red Wings have been struggling significantly as of late, so they will be very happy to have Bertuzzi back in the lineup. After all, he is one of their top forwards, so we should expect to see their offense go up a bit with his return. Bertuzzi has been limited to just nine games this campaign, however, where he has one goal to go along with four points. For his standards, this is below expectations, but now we should expect him to heat up due to him finally being healthy.
All eyes will be on Bertuzzi for Tuesday when the Red Wings take on the Jets, so let’s see what he can end up doing in his much-anticipated return. He is also one of the Red Wings’ top rental candidates, so if he picks up his play, he could not them a solid return at the deadline.
