Golden Knights Getting Boost Ahead of Kings Matchup
The Vegas Golden Knights host the rival Los Angeles Kings on Saturday night. Injuries have hampered the Golden Knights throughout this entire season, however this weekend it appears they've finally received some good news on the injury front. Forward Jonathan Marchessault is expected to return to the lineup on Saturday night.
The shifty winger has been out the last six games with a lower-body injury. He was a full participant in practice this week and appears on track to get back into the lineup.
Marchessault has recorded 14 goals and 27 points in 35 games this season and is one of the best offensive forwards for Vegas. He met with the media after practice yesterday and had this to say:
I feel pretty good. I've done everything I could do to come back to the lineup. We'll see how I feel tomorrow. I'm definitely trending in the right direction.
From the sounds of it, Marchy is back for Vegas on Saturday and the team could be also welcoming back defenseman Alec Martinez.
