Minnesota Wild Make Roster Move
The Minnesota Wild have sent down Zane McIntyre to the American Hockey League.
McIntyre was called up to the NHL squad earlier this week when it was announced that fellow netminder Filip Gustavsson was dealing with an unspecified illness. With that, Marc-Andre Fleury had been away from the team due to personal reasons, but now he is back. As a result, it is understandable that McIntyre is now heading right back to the Iowa Wild.
McIntyre will now be aiming to put together stronger numbers with the Iowa Wild from here. The 2022-23 season has not treated him kindly thus far, as he has a 7-7-0 record to go along with an .888 save percentage and 3.32 GAA. Those numbers are not particularly impressive for his standards, but let's see if he can heat up during the second half of the campaign from here.
