Minnesota Wild to Terminate Forward’s Contract

The Minnesota Wild have placed Joseph Cramarossa on unconditional waivers for the purpose of contract termination.

This contract termination is a little surprising, as Cramarossa has served as a decent depth forward for Minnesota over the last three seasons. In four games with Minnesota this year, he had one goal to go along with four penalty minutes and eight hits. Yet, assuming he clears waivers, he will now have the opportunity to be a free agent again.

It is unclear whether or not Cramarossa plans to head overseas, but this is something that we could very well see. Either way, the 30-year-old's time in Minnesota is coming to a close. In 68 career NHL games over four NHL seasons, he has five goals, eight assists, and 13 points.
