NHL Rumors: Anaheim Ducks & NY Islanders Talking Trade
The Anaheim Ducks are currently among the worst teams in the NHL, and they are going to be major sellers at the deadline because of it. One player who has entered the rumor mill as of late is veteran forward, Adam Henrique. He certainly could form a decent size market as we get closer to the trade deadline, and we should not be surprised to see if the New York Islanders end up being among the teams pursuing him.
Henrique would provide the Islanders with more secondary scoring, and that is something they desperately need at this time. After all, that has been their biggest issue for a long time, but acquiring Henrique could be a way to help remedy the situation. After all, he is still a quality middle-six forward while playing at his best, so he could be a strong addition to the Islanders roster because of it.
With Henrique being a former New Jersey Devil, that also could lead GM Lou Lamoriello to make a legitimate push for him at the trade deadline. After all, he has become known for bringing his former players to Long Island, so let’s see if Henrique is the next to follow this trend.
