NHL Rumors: Boston Bruins Linked to Defenseman

According to The Fourth Period, the Boston Bruins could be a team that expresses interest in Justin Braun at the deadline.

The Bruins certainly could use another right-shot defenseman. Anton Stralman struggled in a depth role with Boston while with the NHL squad, and Braun would be a potential upgrade. With that, Braun could even compete with Connor Clifton for bottom-pairing minutes.

With Braun being a veteran defenseman on a cheap contract, there’s no question that there will be plenty of teams trying to acquire him at the deadline. Let’s see if the Bruins and Philadelphia Flyers end up striking a deal centering around him from here.
