NHL Rumors: Calgary Flames Linked to Anaheim Ducks Forward

The Calgary Flames are looking to add to their forward group before the trade deadline passes. This is very easy to understand, as their scoring trouble is a major reason why they are not higher in the standings. According to Eric Duhatschek, Anaheim Ducks forward Max Comtois could be an option for them at the deadline because of this.

Comtois is a player who certainly could use a change of scenery, as he has struggled these last two seasons. As a result, his placement on their depth chart has fallen, so perhaps a move to Calgary could help him get things back on track. After all, he showed signs of becoming a top-six forward just two seasons ago, so maybe playing on a stronger team like the Flames could help him produce like one again.

We will need to wait and see if the Ducks and Flames end up striking a deal centering around Comtois before the trade deadline passes from here.
