NHL Rumors: Carolina Hurricanes Looking to Make Big Move
The Carolina Hurricanes have had a simply fantastic 2022-23 season thus far. Things are likely to get even better now, however, as star winger Max Pacioretty has been activated off of injured reserve. Yet, even with this being so, the Hurricanes are expected to add to their roster before the deadline. According to Frank Seravalli, they will be in the market for a second-line center.
The Hurricanes did not effectively replace Vincent Trocheck during the offseason, but they still have been very good regardless. However, if they want to beat teams like the Tampa Bay Lightning, Toronto Maple Leafs, and Boston Bruins in the playoffs, they would be wise to strengthen their center depth.
Some potential options who could be in play include Bo Horvat, Dylan Larkin, Ryan O’Reilly, Jonathan Toews, and Sam Reinhart. Alas, let’s see if the Hurricanes end up bringing in a center before the deadline passes.
