The Detroit Red Wings are heading in the right direction, but it is still more likely than not that they will be sellers at the deadline again this year. As a result, they are listening to offers for pending UFA Jordan Oesterle.

Playoff teams are always looking to boost up their defensive depth before the deadline passes, so there should be a decent amount of clubs expressing interest in Oesterle from here. Although he is not a star, he certainly could work as a bottom-pairing defenseman or even extra defenseman for a contender. This is especially true when noting that postseason teams can never have too many defensemen on their roster.

Expect teams like the Tampa Bay Lightning, Seattle Kraken, Pittsburgh Penguins, Calgary Flames, and Edmonton Oilers to be some of the clubs interested in him before the deadline passes. Alas, we will need to wait and see where he ends up being moved to from here.
