NHL Rumors: Hurricanes Considering Reunion With Forward

The Carolina Hurricanes are looking to add at least one forward at the trade deadline to replace Max Pacioretty. As a result, they reportedly have another Max on their radar – Max Domi.

Domi is a familiar face, as the Hurricanes acquired him just last season from the Columbus Blue Jackets at the deadline. Overall, his stint with Carolina had mixed results, but he did memorably play the hero in the Hurricanes’ Game 7 win over the Boston Bruins in round one. Furthermore, he also has been very good for the Chicago Blackhawks this year, so that is only heightening his appeal to teams like the Hurricanes.

We will need to wait and see if the Hurricanes acquire domi for the second trade deadline in a row. On paper, there seems to be a good fit here.
