NHL Rumors: Minnesota Wild & Canucks Talking Blockbuster

According to NHL insider Frank Seravalli, the Minnesota Wild and Vancouver Canucks have had trade discussions centering around star center Bo Horvat in recent days.

This is not the first time where Minnesota has been linked to Horvat, but this certainly is major news when noting that they are talking about a potential trade. On paper, Horvat is exactly the kind of player that the Wild need right now, as their center depth is quite weak. Although Sam Steel has been a very solid pickup for Minnesota this year, the Wild would be wise to make an upgrade at the first-line center position. Horvat, of course, would provide just that.

There are multiple teams making legitimate pushes for Horvat, so the Wild have a lot of competition. We will need to wait and see if these trade discussions end up leading to Horvat being traded to Minnesota from here.
